August Grace Advisory, LLC ("August Grace," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you engage with our advisory services, our website at augustgraceadvisory.com, and our internal business intelligence platform (the "AG Commercial Intelligence Platform" or "Platform").
1. Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide directly. When you engage us, we may collect your name, business email address, mobile telephone number, employer, title, and information related to the professional matters you engage us on.
- Information provided by clients and contractors. When you are added to our AG Commercial Intelligence Platform as an authorized user, we collect your name and mobile telephone number so that we can send you SMS notifications relevant to your work with the firm.
- Automatically collected information. When you visit our website, we may automatically collect standard log information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. This is used only for security and analytics.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to deliver advisory services, communicate with clients and contractors, operate the AG Commercial Intelligence Platform, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising.
3. SMS messaging privacy
The AG Commercial Intelligence Platform sends SMS text messages to a private allowlist of firm principals and authorized contractors. The following terms apply to all SMS communications:
- No sharing of mobile information. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is used solely to operate the Platform and to communicate with authorized users about their work with the firm.
- Consent required. Mobile numbers are added to the Platform allowlist only after the recipient has provided consent, either verbally during onboarding (memorialized in follow-up email) or in writing through a signed engagement letter or contractor agreement.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on ongoing engagements and platform activity. Recipients typically receive between one and twenty messages per week.
- Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details.
- Opt-out. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. To resubscribe, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or email bg@augustgraceadvisory.com.
- Service availability. We do not guarantee SMS delivery, which depends on mobile carrier networks outside of our control.
4. Sharing of information
We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate our business (for example, telecommunications carriers and cloud infrastructure vendors), under contractual confidentiality obligations. These providers are prohibited from using your information for their own purposes.
- With regulators, courts, or other government authorities where required by law.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and to enforce our agreements.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect information under our control. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
